How DocsAutomator stores and handles generated PDFs
Last updated
DocsAutomator allows you to specify how long generated PDFs shall be stored in DocsAutomator's storage. For most integrations, such as Airtable and Glide, storing the PDF in DocsAutomator's storage is usually not necessary. Immediately after generation, a copy of the PDF is stored in your data source (Airtable, Glide, ...).
Per default and for privacy reasons, DocsAutomator deletes PDFs soon after generation. If you wish to keep PDFs longer, please adjust the setting.
The default for every automation is "immediate expiry", meaning the PDF is deleted soon after generation.
If you want DocsAutomator to keep PDFs for longer (maybe you're generation via API and need DocsAutomator to store PDFs for you), please adjust the setting above.
